Launch automations
What turns on for members when we launch, and what comes after. None of this is running yet.
Preview: nothing on this page is switched on yet. It describes what we plan to turn on at launch. Every text includes "reply STOP to opt out", and texts go only to people who agreed to get them.
At launch
Automatic introductions
When: A landowner sends a request and picks pros.
What happens: Text (only if the landowner checked the text box) and email to the landowner with each pro's name and profile; text and email to each chosen pro with the job details and the landowner's preferred contact method.
Timing: Right away · Who hears: Landowner and the 1 to 3 pros they picked
No-reply backup
When: A picked pro hasn't marked the request "contacted" after a few hours.
What happens: Reminder to the pro; then the landowner is offered the next pro who serves their county, and chooses whether to send it.
Timing: A few business hours (exact time set at launch) · Who hears: Pro (reminder), then landowner
Review request
When: The pro or landowner marks the job done.
What happens: Email or text to the landowner asking for a review tied to that job; one reminder if no reply.
Timing: At job done, reminder a few days later · Who hears: Landowner
Septic pumping reminder
When: A septic job is marked done and the landowner opts in.
What happens: Reminder to have the tank checked and pumped, with a link to request the same pro or another.
Timing: Every 3 to 5 years (landowner picks) · Who hears: Landowner
Well-water testing reminder
When: A well or pump job is marked done and the landowner opts in.
What happens: Yearly reminder to test well water with a state-certified lab.
Timing: Every 12 months · Who hears: Landowner
Online site-visit booking
When: A pro accepts a request.
What happens: The landowner gets a link to book a site visit on the pro's calendar; both get a confirmation and a reminder the day before.
Timing: Reminder 24 hours before · Who hears: Landowner and pro
Reminder intervals follow EPA guidance: septic tanks pumped about every 3 to 5 years (EPA septic); private wells tested at least once a year (EPA private wells).

Storm mode
When the National Weather Service issues warnings for a county, that county switches to storm mode: tree, debris, fence, well, and shelter pros with open schedules show first, with a storm-chaser scam box for landowners.
